My name is Jacqueline, and I'm not a professional fashionista. However, having two continents as my home make it accessible to bring two worlds together. Friends & co- workers always wonder what I have back in my luggages. Despite my resistance to the ministry of fashion, it isn't an option when the birth of a new creation is just in your backyard. It inspires me to glorify its art and utility. This leads to the creation of my own fashion parameters. I detest LUXURY, rather adore what SIMPLICITY & PRACTICALITY are.

Brand names spend gazillions on marketing, higher retail or corporate expenses...and all these decades, MOI - who is Nobody, always bump into the big fashion buyers when I go to the source - The Maker. Witnessing the fashion corporates in sourcing silk & crocodile skin in Thailand, or the finest leather in Paris or Milan, makes one wonder - how much really is fashion? Are you worth the dress or the design you are wearing? I don't think it's a measurement of success. Check out Mr. FB Zuckerberg on his shirt...is it an organic shirt that costs $200? or $9.99 from Gap?

Now, let's have a real talk, be a RICH BITCH! Save those bucks in spending on the 'eclat de luxe' and put it to sound investments instead!
